cant tell u how happy i am today - really very happy!
went into my FB i was surprised to see so many greetings *thanks to the birthday reminder function!* i'm so so blessed~.~.. and to add more blessings, my good friends from taiwan called to wish me happy birthday!! I'm so so so so happy! I miss them so much! Joanne has just returned to Taiwan for CNY, and our Mr Kai is forever the joker.. though it's just a phone call, the hype of my birthday blessings just got higher and higher..
how did i spend my birthday? well, i had it well spent at a wake.. yes, a WAKE.. demise of a good friend's granny.. *i'm not that supersitious, neither is she* just want to see if she's coping it well, afterall this is a LIFE EVENT (though not a favourable one) compared to my annual event.... we had such fun chat at our table (i know her brothers too).. what an extraordinary way to spend birthday!
interesting conclusion - the top birthday wish is for me to be in a good and Godly relationship, ie life partner.. (even my 2 buddies called me personally to wish me that! even asked me to disclose my requirements so they can join in prayers for me!!) How anxious are these people to sell me off, really.. and when they knew i'm planning to spend my birthday with no celebration but at a wake, my dear Alec got even more anxious.. i know it's a good chance for the guys to ask me out, but hey - birthdays are meant to spend with family, close friends, and perhaps with that special someone, right? moreover, i'm not in favour of 'trying out' someone... i dont want to give false hope and might hinder them to pursue their happiness.. *i'm a very focused person, hahaaa*
nevertheless, i really had such great fun and blessings this birthday (3days in a row).. I love you people!! I thank God and thank you for all your friendships and love!
