after 1mth of no-cgm, it's really a joy to be back in cgm again.. what's better - i'm back to north cg!! :) well, i guess i can say i've tried my best in the west cg, but the return journey was really tiring so i'm now back to north cg, under a new cgl.. transition after transition, like the saying goes - the only constant is change. but hey i'm not complaining, now i've time to enjoy fellowship after cgm, instead of rushing off in order to be home by midnight..
you know, i really believe spiritual life is VERY IMPORTANT (not to forget, our spiritual walk is the ONLY thing you can bring into ETERNALITY with JESUS)! i mean, being through several cg transitions, under several leaders and even across 2 different zones, i can really feel the difference in the way of urshering God's Presence, sharing and praying.. each spiritual walk is really magnified during cellgroup meeting and it takes everyone's effort to contain God's Presence.. in DD zone, the leaders are very anointed in ministering.. yes, every cgm is a great ministering opportunity and you'll be in awe of how sensitive and anointed the leaders are. perhaps cos Pst Derek is american, his leaders also have a very good command of English language. in JS zone, the leaders are more 'singaporean' - the sharing is very localised with singlish but they are more active in outreaches. not to compare cos it really depends where God wants to put you.. in every cg, there's always a growth opportunity in loving and servicing people wholeheartedly.
i must say i'm still adapting to this new transition (afterall today's only the 2nd cgm in amk~) but i know it'll only be better! though i'll still miss the good old days of ministering cg, but i know i'll learn more through it all.. if God allows, one day i might be able to use these skills to lead.. but first, i know i've to pray for stronger spiritual walk in the Lord and wait upon the Lord's timing and blessings.
