for those of u who wonders.. well, you know i'm going on taiwan trip with my mum.. but suddenly, last-minute and totally spontaneous, my aunt wants to join and now 2-pax becomes 3-pax. a lot of time-fighting to integrate her into our travel plan..
1) asking around for best deal single airticket - the effort was great cos i've to call and ask the agents and even the airline counter itself.. thankfully, due to my friendliness and good relationship, my tour agent was able to 'snatch' a seat in the same flight which was totally full and man, that was the fastest payment i've ever made! i mean it! from the moment she say 'hey, wait' to 'here's the ticket', it's a short duration of 5mins! (no wonder i'm her one of favourite customer~)
2) getting additional accommodation - ok, this is the frustrating cos i'm really not into the idea of sharing my double bed with my aunt! seriously, sharing with my mum is still comfortable (afterall we squeezed onto my small bed before).. but my aunt?! let's just say that's not something i look forward to, even in travelling.. i really humbled my tone of speech to ask for options and suggestions from the house owner whose haughty voice indicated we're paying 'peanuts for his extra work' (typical hongkonger attitude!!) *trust me, i was really annoyed at his reply!* well, to cut long story short, he finally gave me another room booking of a single room at relative cheap rate of NTD1000/night. *ok, i'm happy enough that he explored and offered, but i'm still quite upset with his initial remark* cos it's a newly furnished room there's no picture published on his room rental website yet, so he was kind enough (he better be!) to attach some pictures for my reference and..
I NEARLY FAINTED!
though i like red/pink, but this is really WAY OFF~! but for the sake of staying with my mum n aunt under same roof, i guess this is the best offer i can get *oh my goodness, i really cant imagine myself in this room~ so girly!!* honestly, who in his/her right mind will stay in this room?! *shudders*
