to be honest, i dun understand why people are so afraid of getting lost, esp IN SINGAPORE?! i mean, come'on this is only a DOT on the globe so what's the big diff of exploring a few more blocks to get back to your block? come'on, when the amercians can even consider '2 blocks away'(2 sections/roads' distance) as near distance, i really dun understand why the panic when you are just FEW HDB BLOCKS away from your block?!?! (p/s: a note of advice to those of you who have short-sightedness yet STUBBORNLY REFUSED to wear spec or contacts!! HAVE WISDOM!) ok, if you are scare of being lost, then jolly well be sure you can see your path clearly!! either that, or you jolly well learn to enjoy exploring your area!! dun freak people out by giving them a panic call for direction, when you are obviously not willing to take any more instructions cos you are simply too fearful to 'get lost'!
look, people can tell you where you stand, how to go to your destination from your point, but it is you who have to first identify where you are at now, before people can direct you! look around! (that's the reason why you need to SEE CLEARLY!) dun freaking hell shout at me, when i'm trying to identify where you are so i can help you! if you are so afraid of getting lost, then why cant you plan your route before you set off!?!? that's why maps are for, right? even if you are map-idiot and BLIND, then ASK around! what's the point of being swivet and shouting at the one who is trying to help?
trust me, this is the first and the LAST i'll help her to get around ang mo kio! honestly! it's only ANG MO KIO!
*her block is standing BEHIND where she was standing 'lost' when she was screaming for help over the phone! **she refused to wear eye-wear cos she think her short-sightedness of 200degress is 'ok', yet SHE CANT SEE IT BEHIND* and to think her home country - malaysia is much bigger than singapore, what is her freaking ground for such unreasonable scream!?!
