allow me to vent retrospectively..ON MY BLOG!
seriously, guys, i really dont know where are your mannerism, let alone chivalry!
i have this friend since poly.. i mean, it's ok to scoff at friends when you were young and 'ignorant', but after 10yrs if you have not learnt your manners, please! you are just pure hopeless! and knowing that he's a absolutely hopeless crappy brat, i tried all means to avoid him for years.. but from time to time, he'll still tries his luck (and pushing it too far if you ask me!) *please, why cant some people get the obvious 'hint' to stay clear!*
recently he's pushing his luck again.. called me out for movie AT LAST MINUTE. taking into account of our friendship, i tried to be nice and have already informed him that i dont entertain last minute invites (trust me, i really DONT entertain last minute requests unless i'm very comfy with you), yet it just didnt get through his impenetrable skin! he'll call again few days later to ask me out again.. as though i owe him a date! talk about THICK-SKIN! i understand the concept of persistency but guys, please exercise some WISDOM too! after years of 'NO', dont you get it!?!
what really piss me off is his last call (or rather i declare 'his last call' cos i'll NEVER give him any chance of friendship again!) - he called to pester me for a night out in zouk on sat night, knowing very well i've church service on sat.. when i said no, his assertive response was 'your church dun end that late one, you can come at 11pm and we'll party all night'.. i was like 'hello, you have no right to direct me around. i know i wont go after church esp i've sun morning appointment' (trust me, i was on the verge of rebuking him with 'hey, i've more important things to do than you slacking in your life'!) then his ultimate reply 'wah so hard to get huh, i'll have to demote you to my part-time girlfriend liao'.. can you imagine my reaction in my mind!?! hello, i was, am and will never be in your 'girlfriends' list, and never wanted to be in!! as if i'd look forward to go out with you, ever! seriously, i was pissing mad! still, i kept my cool with a simple 'whatever'..
then, when i logged into my facebook, i was shocked and totally ANNOYED! he really took pride on his name being a 'J' cos the quiz indicated my future partner will be a 'J'! trust me, by this time, all my hot steam really burst out! this guy has absolutely no shame!!! immediately, i shot him down with 'seriously, u think too much.. fyi u cant pass my first 'criteria'.. lol stop dreaming' and guess what's his reply? he tried to play cool by brushing it off but how can i forget the 'desperate' phone call date episode?!? trust me, all i really want is to shut him OUT AND OFF my wall!! so i replied 'trust me, u cant even if u wanna.. *case closed*' i was so pissing hot and mad! why some people can be so shamelessly arrogant!!! of course, still trying to play cool, he replied in his huh?-whatever tone.. heck with him! i immediately deleted and blocked him from my facebook FOREVER!
i mean, please, i'm not an easily annoyed person.. even if you are totally no-brainer crapper, i can still put my patience to the test.. but please! dont ever try to impress me with your incorrigible silly arrogance! after living on earth for over 30yrs, have you not learnt anything about sensitivity? about humility? about knowing when and where to shut up and leave? gosh, he's totally hopeless!! *i'm so glad he'll be out of my life from now on!*
