Acts 17:11
Now these [Jews] were better disposed and more noble than those in Thessalonica, for they were entirely ready and accepted and welcomed the message [concerning the attainment through Christ of eternal salvation in the kingdom of God] with inclination of mind and eagerness, searching and examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so.

*wow.. 'with inclination of mind and eagerness' and 'searching and examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so' - the spirit of theologists*
after getting started on the concept of 'doctrine' and 'theology', the lesson has started to get into its lesson proper (even though we still sidetrack to some controversial topics from time to time) it is then that i realised 'woah,these people are really serious into the Word' (i'm feeling so guilty for having a see-learn attitude, J, got to buck up!)..really, they are very well-informed of the church world.. and i must say, i really very impressed by my lecturer - Rev Dr Benard Low, he really knows the Word in details and in depth! ok, to be fair, he is associate pastor of BP church, a PhD holder in theology, Christian for 30yrs, he's my lecturer and also the director of CCTE, for goodness' sake!!.. of course, he must and should have these exposure and knowledge, let alone the profound terminologies.. HE'S REALLY GOOD! *p/s: he's only 38yrs old!! gosh, where will i be when i'm 38yrs old?* if you think theology is a dry topic as it can be, it's really fun in his class..

i guess, after best wednesdays (RCIA days) last yr, this time round will be a great time of great mondays bcos of this class. i really wish i can share with you on this subject - The Doctrines of Revelation and Scripture, but till then.. i just want you to know I REALLY ENJOYING THE CLASS! (btw can someone help me on the assignment?!) heehee..
