as if last night of 'taiwan temptation' is not enough, i had to came back and face the ultimate 'torture' of watching all those taiwan food and culture in tv channel8 and channelU! can u imagine how i salivated in front of the tv!! no escape - both channels!! the moment i saw 芋圓 (yam dumplings), my saliva was already dripping to the floor~~~ oh my goodness, why is the situation so against me??
and just when i thought the unbearable part was over, my dear mum shot me '叫你嫁去台灣,你又不要 (ask u to marry to taiwan, u refused)'~ seriously, what a good mother she is.. here i am trying to clear my wet drippy mess, and trying hard to get over this 'taiwan beckoning', she's there shooting such arrows at me.. *i told u she cant wait to sell me off :P * i rebuked, '難道我要為了芋圓出嫁嗎 (so i must get married cos of yum dumplings?)' ..i know it's rude, but she knows it's a teaser (she'll really cry if i'm married off overseas.. so far for her to 'see').. gosh, i miss taiwanese foood!
p/s: my taiwanese ex-colleagues recommend this place in Joo Chiat which will help me to ease this 'taiwan food' crave.. will let u know if u are interested to know i'm happy with the food :)
