for those of u who also track my FB status, u will know why i have this thought now.. in midst of mental battle with that snot.
marine, shipping, offshore.. one might think 'what a lucrative industry' which i do agree.. but the manner of trade, the manners of people.. are so totally hustling! i might even say 'openly under table'! yes, i know i complaint abt the way my boss trade when i started this job.. yet i still cant stand the way this trade is managed!
ok, back to the 'marine' people.. i realised one thing they have in common - their words cant be trusted! they act as 'big-shots' and lead lavishly lifestyle for network. ok, i admit they are also freaking rich to do so. evidence? my snobbish rude boss? my buddy also reminded me of our rich friend who has been enjoying his shipping trade with frequent excessive entertainment? and not to mention my recent friend - CK who admit he is a hustler by profession in shipping line. ok, marine market is not that small but just so happen that all i've known in this trade are totally arrogantly ill-mannered! do i make my point?
i was pretty amused by the fact that my buddy shared this sentiment with me.. i mean, he tried this trade for 1 yr or so before.. now then he's telling me he cant stand this haughty network. *thank God that he's out now - i saw his change when he was in this market and i truly really dont like it* seriously, if u think americans are arrogant, surely u have not been in company of shippers~ they have such pure down-right overbearing pride evidenced by a superior manner toward inferiors, who happen to be everyone except themselves. is it a trade DNA? or bcos marine/shipping is the only industry where such personality can be contained?
seriously, my 2-cents worth of advice to all of you out there, do not befriend any trader or owners in this marine line, unless you have a strong heart to battle their imperious attitude. ... i think my heart is really getting weaker by day..
