24 Sep 10 - 2 invitations in 1 day

you people know i've been trying to get myself some routine activities, some 'fixed schedule' so i can look forward to and hopefully exhaust all my energy in.. i thank God for eirene and elsie who really took the trouble to keep me accompany every weekends - as a routine. however, i know i have to get myself occupied more than that.. hopefully something i enjoy doing (like my work) and i can just keep doing in the company of friends.. i asked ian, n he told me to be myself-netball, badminton or any sports.. but it's hard to find a group to play sports together, unlike him n his usual soccer friends.

then, i received an email to be part of my company's corporate social responsibility team. basically, this team just organise corporate events or bonding activities to foster closer rship in work environment. guess what, i'm 'called in' as part of the core team. i've freaking no idea whose plan is this, but i'm pretty glad to be in events management (my favourite since school days). i wonder who else is in this team, and what event can we come up with on top of our daily overload. but heck, i think i will enjoy this unexpected responsibility - a chance to mingle n network with the US management team too. what a timely plan from dont-know-who.

then again, when i got home after clearing most mails from my 2 office inbox, i received another invitation to be a volunteer in dog shelter. i cant say i'm totally thrilled cos i can foresee some heartpain and tears to see those little ones in pain and abandonment. but i agree to the job anyway. i know i have to accept cos i love animals more than humans. i feel and communicate better with animals than humans. though i'm not a vet (no inspiration to be so) but i just want to help these little ones in ways i can. if i have my own house, i can even turn it into animal shelter - you know i will!

so that's it. 2 invitations to occupy my time n energy in future. i dont know when it'll start but i know i've corporate core team meeting next week. hey, i'm part of core team~ i really hope i'll be really really busy and overloaded!
